Haul: Christmas Exchange Gift

2011.12.23 07:38:32

Hi Sweeties!

Christmas is just around the corner! Are you excited about Christmas? All the gifts exchange and thanksgiving going on during this special season. Well, i do enjoy & am excited about Christmas! But just that this year bit mood-spoiling for me as you know (or been following me on twitter) that I'm currently working part-time for Christmas season @ Takashimaya B1.

Nevertheless, we had a small gift exchange going on among ourself at my work place!

Guess what i purchase??

*Note: some items shown below is for my own consumption!!

Hauls from Watsons!

I've changed my contact lens solution to AO Sept Plus. After using it, the cleanliness is totally different from normal MPS! I can feel it's much more clean then using MPS.

Brought Sally Hansen Nailgrowth miracle for my colleague(who is now my good friend) who wish to let her nails grow out fast and healthy.

Hauls from Sephora!

We randomly picked up names from a box and that decides who you should give the present to which was before making the purchase of the present. I brought Soap & Glory - Scrub of your life, for the person whom i picked up. ^^

Also, i brough Soap & Glory - The Daily Smooth Body Butter, for my colleague whom will also receive Sally Hansen Nailgrowth miracle. I did a combine present for her. Hope she would like it!

Hauls from LUSH!!

Well, this soap wasn't brought by me, but by my bf! I had a small gathering with my friends on Saturday (17 December 2011) and we agreed on having a gift exchange which by everyone had to bring 1 gift & we picked numbers. Honey I Washed The Kids - is the present my bf brought for the gift exchange. Of course, i wasn't the winner of this soap~ =(

I've been waiting for the small tub to arrive and yes! finally! Brought 2 for gift exchange as well! 1 for my bff from work place, 1 for my boss~ *don't be so happy okie? hahas!!*

I've been wanting to lay them on my hands, but maybe, when i gotten my pay~

Last, Hauls from Kiehl's!!

All of the items here are mine! Except for 2 items which is for gift exchange~

I've been using their lip balm (with SPF 15) and been liking it! Now during Christmas season, they launch out their Christmas Limited Edition lip balm! Comes in 3 flavours: Pear, Cranberry, Mint.

My trip to Kiehl's ION Orchard landed me with 5 limited edition lip balms (1 of the Cranberry & 1 of the Mint is for gift exchange. Other 3 is for my own consumption.) and their No.1 selling Ultra Light Daily UV Defense sunscreen with SPF 50 PA+++ (UVA). And I've joined their "Friends" member. ^^ only problem is that i'm unable to login my "friends" account. =(

For Saturday (17 December 2011) gathering, I brought the Cranberry flavour for gift exchange as i feel that cranberry gives people the feeling of Christmas. (Maybe it's just me).

And 1 of the Mint flavor is for my bff at work place, together with LUSH M.O.M. Her's is also a combine present! *Hope you like it!*

Just nice that day met bf friend who intro me Kiehl's Rare Earth Deep Pore Cleansing Masque. She said this product is good! Requested for sample for this so i can test it out before making a full purchase of it. And oh! I love how Kiehl's is so generous with their samples unlike some other companies who asked loads qns & show black faces when we request for samples to try their products out.

I actually wanted to purchase the Line-Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate cream but after much consideration and friend advise, decide to get the sunscreen instead. Heard their Midnight Recovery Eye cream is very good, also requested for sample to try it out.

Gotten this pouch from Kiehl's too as i purchased 5 lip balms and this pouch was actually meant for the lip balm~!

That's all & thanks for reading. Hope you enjoy my post.

And have a Happy Christmas Day everyone!

xoxo,

OOTD + LOTD: Blue Wedding Dinner

2011.12.23 07:35:02

Hi Sweetie!

Few days ago (15 December`11) i had attended bf friend wedding dinner and i though that it would be nice to share my OOTD and LOTD.

Sidetrack: Did anyone happen to be stuck on the train on 15 dec? Well, i was very lucky enough to have that missed! Saw reports saying that it happened around 6.45~6.55pm and that was the timing i board the train. Real lucky for me else i'll be suffering on the train and late for the dinner!

Enough talking! let's look at the pictures!

Wore a blue tube dress that my mum brought for me during Jan`11 for my bro wedding. and a blue cardigan that bro brought back from Taiwan honeymoon trip. Pardon the quality of the picture, was rushing to go out.

For my eye makeup, 1st time attempt of using bright colors & i've asked 1 of my friend for advice on it.

Uses the Etude House 48 color palette blue es as above but i left out the black (1st color) & sky blue (2nd last color).

Product used on my eye:

- Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer

- DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner (Black)

- Majolica Majorca Lash Bone Black Fiber

- Majolica Majorca Lash Enamel Glamour Volume

- DollyWink False Eyelash in No.1 Dolly Sweet (with Heroine Make eyelash fixer)

For my hair, did a side bun with some curled hair but end up being called "auntie". Took off the rubber band and it looks fine. Doesn't have a picture of it thou.

Everything ended nice & good at the wedding and did enjoyed myself there~

Thanks for reading and hope you enjoy it~

xoxo,

Review + Swatch: Etude House Aloha 48 Colors Eyeshadow

2011.12.23 07:31:40

Hi Sweeties!

I've brought this palette 3-4 months back while I'm having exam & just nice Etude House is having their 30% sales. So was thinking, why not? It's such a good steal! And oh! This palette was a limited edition. I believe it's sold out by now.

And last month, Joanna (@Missjology) tweeted/blogged about her swatch for Etude House lip color palette, and i was inspired to do so!

Price: after 30% discount, it was about S$29++ or S$30+. Sorry everyone, i can't remember it! It was like 3-4 months ago thing~

Packaging: Not really a like for it. It was made with paper cardboard? I wish it would come in packaging like plastic palette kind (E.G: Sleek; didn't own it, but saw other bloggers blog about it).

Color Texture: Contain Shimmer & some Matt colors.

Pigmentation: Dark colors goes on good with 1 sweep. Light colors would need 2 sweeps or more to achieve its color.

Overall: Great! For ES beginners like me, i can play around with the colors i have and create looks that i normally wouldn't go for it.

Swatch Time!!

Thanks for reading and hope that this post is helpful~

xoxo,
